More importantly they are packed with many nutritional benefits!

Dates are a fantastic source of soluble and insoluble fibre and are rich in antioxidants. Trace elements including magnesium, calcium, potassium, phosphorus, iron, selenium, vitamin C & B6 are also bioavailable.

The advantage of using dates as a natural sweetener is that they contain high amounts of naturally occurring basic sugars.  These sugars are easily processed by the body and used as an energy source.
